As Executive Producer for Riding Remote – Antarctica, Stein Retzlaff and Douglas Stoup (owner of Ice Axe Expeditions) brought snowboarding to the stunning and remote landscapes of Antarctica. Featuring an elite team of elite athletes, including Danny Davis, Nick Russel, Elena Hight, the project explored one of the most beautiful and remote environments on the planet.
Filmed in 2019 and released in 2020, Riding Remote blends world-class athletes with an adventure like no other while showcasing the team’s wild ride through the icy, pristine landscapes of Antarctica. The film was distributed through Outside TV, Warren Miller Entertainment’s Future Retro, and Tahoe Matt Media.
