Brazilian Amazon

In 2017 and 2023, Stein joined Douglas Stoup on an incredible journey into the heart of the Brazilian Amazon with Expedition Terra. The project took the team deep into one of the most biodiverse regions on the planet, home to nearly one-third of all species, and showcased the awe-inspiring wildlife and lush landscapes that make the Amazon a global treasure.

The adventure consists of unique adventures, including stand-up paddleboarding and dugout canoeing on the Rio Negro, as well as fishing for piranhas and Peacock Bass, giving viewers a rare glimpse into the daily discoveries made in this exotic environment. After an adventurous day, the team returned to the comfort of a riverboat, offering a stark contrast to the ruggedness of the jungle, with fresh meals and air-conditioned suites. Brazilian Amazon is a captivating exploration of one of the most remote and ecologically rich regions on Earth.
